About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dentist with at least 5 years of clinical practice to deliver member-centered dental care across our clinics. You will ensure safe dental practices, patient satisfaction, and contribute to operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage oral health conditions including cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues.
- Member Assessment: Conduct thorough dental examinations, order and interpret diagnostic imaging, and develop treatment plans.
- Treatment Oversight: Perform restorative procedures, extractions, preventive care, and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal member outcomes.
- Education & Counseling: Provide oral health education, preventive care guidance, and counseling to members and families.
- Accurate Records: Maintain complete and precise dental records in electronic health systems.
- Safe Environment: Promote a safe and positive environment for members and staff.
- WOW Service: Go above and beyond to serve members, prospective or existing.
- Outreach & Enrollment: Support outreach activities and member enrollment initiatives.
- Leadership: Mentor junior dental clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement in dental operations.
Qualifications
- BDS or equivalent dental degree from a recognized institution
- Current and valid license with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification dental experience
- Strong understanding of oral healthcare systems, insurance benefits, and dental terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and healthcare providers
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud applications, and research tools
- Passion for delivering exceptional member care and improving oral health outcomes
