About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatrician with at least 5 years of clinical practice to deliver child-centered care across our clinics. You will ensure safe medical practices, family satisfaction, and contribute to operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
Child Assessment: Conduct thorough pediatric examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop age-appropriate treatment plans.
Medication Oversight: Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring safe administration and adherence for children.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes for young patients.
Family Education: Provide guidance to parents and caregivers on preventive care, nutrition, growth milestones, and lifestyle management.
Accurate Records: Maintain complete and precise pediatric records in electronic health systems.
Safe Environment: Promote a safe and positive environment for children, families, and staff.
WOW Service: Go above and beyond to serve members, prospective or existing.
Outreach & Enrollment: Support outreach activities and member enrollment initiatives, especially for family health programs.
Leadership: Mentor junior clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement in pediatric operations.

Qualifications

MBChB or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics
Current and valid license with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification pediatric experience
Strong understanding of child development, preventive care, and pediatric healthcare systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and healthcare providers
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud applications, and research tools
Passion for delivering exceptional child-centered care and improving health outcomes
