About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Finance Lead to manage financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. This role is central to maintaining financial integrity, supporting decision-making, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with the management team to track performance, manage budgets, and contribute to Rivia Clinics’ growth.

This is not a traditional back-office role. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where your insights directly shape operations and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Oversee payroll processing and staff reimbursements
  • Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax laws and statutory reporting standards
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required

Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Track expenses against budgets and highlight variances
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making

Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations and management teams to align financial planning with clinic goals
  • Support procurement and vendor management with financial oversight
  • Contribute to workflow improvements in financial processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA) preferred
  • 4–6 years of experience, ideally in healthcare or service industries
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Ghanaian tax regulations, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems) and Google Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Adaptability and stakeholder management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Salary Range: GHS 5,000 – GHS 8,000
