About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dermatologist with at least 5 years of clinical practice to deliver member-centered dermatological care across our clinics. You will ensure safe medical practices, member satisfaction, and contribute to operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Dermatology Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions.
Member Assessment: Conduct thorough dermatological examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Medication Oversight: Prescribe and monitor dermatological medications, ensuring safe administration and adherence.
Procedural Expertise: Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and cosmetic treatments.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal member outcomes.
Education & Counseling: Provide health education, preventive skin care guidance, and counseling to members and families.
Accurate Records: Maintain complete and precise member records in electronic health systems.
Safe Environment: Promote a safe and positive environment for members and staff.
WOW Service: Go above and beyond to serve members, prospective or existing.
Outreach & Enrollment: Support outreach activities and member enrollment initiatives.
Leadership: Mentor junior clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical operations.

Qualifications

MBChB or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Dermatology
Current and valid license with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification dermatology practice
Strong understanding of dermatological conditions, healthcare systems, insurance benefits, and medical terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and healthcare providers
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud applications, and research tools
Passion for delivering exceptional dermatological care and improving health outcomes
