About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Lab Technician to join our clinical team. You will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic accuracy, ensuring safe laboratory practices, and contributing to operational efficiency across our clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Collection & Processing: Collect, prepare, and analyze biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) with accuracy and care.
Diagnostic Testing: Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests to support clinical decision-making.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Equipment Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to guarantee reliable results.
Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver timely and accurate test results.
Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of test results in electronic health systems.
Member Care: Provide clear explanations to members about laboratory procedures when required.

Qualifications

Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
Current and valid license with the Allied Health Professions Council (Ghana)
Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and diagnostic procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and laboratory information systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for accuracy, member care, and continuous improvement
