About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Doctor with at least 5 years of clinical practice to deliver member-centered care across our clinics. You will ensure safe medical practices, member satisfaction, and contribute to operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Member Assessment: Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Medication Oversight: Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring safe administration and adherence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal member outcomes.
- Education & Counseling: Provide health education, preventive care guidance, and counseling to members and families.
- Accurate Records: Maintain complete and precise member records in electronic health systems.
- Safe Environment: Promote a safe and positive environment for members and staff.
- WOW Service: Go above and beyond to serve members, prospective or existing.
- Outreach & Enrollment: Support outreach activities and member enrollment initiatives.
- Leadership: Mentor junior clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical operations.
Qualifications
- MBChB or equivalent medical degree
- Current and valid license with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, insurance benefits, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and healthcare providers
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud applications, and research tools
- Passion for delivering exceptional member care and improving health outcomes
