About the Role
We are looking for a Physician Assistant who thinks differently from the norm – possessing skills such as decisive leadership, up-to-date and always-learning clinical competence, the ability to use a PC proficiently, and digital platforms for care and administration. You should have started some projects in the past, a side business on campus, hacked into a system, done something you were told not to do and succeeded against the odds. You keep learning so fast that you have lost old friends. You get it – we are building a different kind of company – more like a mission and movement. Your role is central to ensuring Rivia Clinics Members receive virtual care when they need it and are assisted to assess in-person care at our expanding chain of clinics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Member Care Coordination
- Respond promptly to calls and messages (phone, WhatsApp, digital platforms)
- Triage patient needs and determine urgency
- Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care
2. Clinical Care Delivery
- Conduct virtual consultations
- Prescribe medications in line with clinical guidelines
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Escalate appropriately when in-person or specialist care is required
3. Experience Management
- Deliver warm, professional, efficient virtual care
- Ensure members feel heard, supported, and valued
- Represent the Rivia WOW Experience in every interaction
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, PAs, nurses, and administrative staff
- Coordinate in-person referrals across clinic locations
- Contribute to workflow improvements
5. Documentation
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
6. Efficiency & Responsiveness
- Manage multiple member cases simultaneously
- Balance clinical decision-making with operational coordination
- Maintain high responsiveness under pressure
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) with active certification.
- 2–3 years of clinical experience.
- Proven experience in virtual care delivery and telehealth platforms (strongly preferred).
- Strong background in care coordination and healthcare administration.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- High typing speed and digital fluency (WhatsApp, EMR systems, call platforms).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust virtually.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
